BME Faculty of Architecture announce every year the Hauszmann-prize competition. This year the prize is open to anyone who has defended his/her diploma design project in the Integrated MSc or MSc Program in the Faculty of Architecture at the BME in 2022.
Parts to be submitted:
A_Data sheet
One sheet of A4 size in pdf format with the following content:
_name, 5×5 cm portrait
_phone number, postal address, e-mail address, title of the diploma project
_name of the department and the architect consultant
B_Plan
The competition must consist of five sheets of 42×42 cm size, in a merged pdf format, according to the following themes:
1_free starter sheet (recommended content: reason for choosing the topic, relevancy of the topic, personal motivation, purpose of the design, narrative and illustrated explanation of major principles of the project)
2_introduction of the characteristics of the design site, cultural background and physical environment, approach and relationship to them / site plan
3_presentation of space use methodology, functional aspects, environmental awareness / floor plans, sections
4_forms, colours, lights, materials / facades, details
5_external-internal character, relation to the environment / views, model pictures, photo-graphics
Please upload the data sheet and the design sheets to the Hauszmann-prize 2022 TEAMS folder. From the same site can be downloaded the brief containing the formality of the sheets. Invitations to the TEAMS group can be obtained from the Department secretaries.

Five prizes of equal value can be awarded each year. A jury of architecture professors András Cseh, Balázs Marián and Tamás Szentirmai will propose the award to the Dean Prof. György Alföldi. The award ceremony is a part of graduation ceremony at the autumn.
