Timișoara Architecture Biennial – Beta 2022 invites everyone who is interested in contributing to the creation of quality architecture to participate in Beta Competition!

We are looking for architects, urbanists, landscape architects, scenographers, light artists, graduates of architecture / interior architecture / urban planning / visual arts / design, engineers, IT-ists, public administrations, NGOs, sociologists, psychologists, critics, theorists, philosophers, everybody who wants to share their contribution to the built environment and the society.

Participants can submit works realized in the past two years (finalized projects / proposals / projects that interpret the role of architecture, including essays and photographs exploring this year’s main theme – The City as a Common Good, in the following seven categories:

1.Built space // 2.Interior space // 3.Public space // 4.Graduation projects // 5.Initiatives / Experiments / Visions // 6.Essays // 7. Photography

We are offering 7 awards of 1000 euros each and 14 honorable mentions of 500 euros each.

The fourth edition of Timișoara Architecture Biennial – Beta 2022, organized by Timiș Territorial Branch of the Romanian Order of Architects, will take place from 23rd of September to 23rd of October 2022, in Timișoara.
