RIBA President’s Medals 2021

The Royal Institute of British Architects is now welcoming entries for the 2021 RIBA President’s Medals from schools of architecture worldwide.

Awarded for the first time in 1836, the RIBA President’s Medals are one of the longest-standing and most prestigious architectural education awards in the world.

Every year, the BME Faculty of Architecture nominates one student design for the RIBA President’s Medals. This design will be selected by the Faculty jury from the designs nominated for the Hauszmann Award.

Project Title

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
