International Architecture Student Committee Launch

We are pleased to announce the launch of the newly formed International Architecture Student Committee here at the Architecture faculty of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Dear Fellow Students,

Over the past couple of months, a group of 7 students have been working to build a solid legal and operational foundation for an International Committee and establish our role within the faculty and university. In close collaboration with the Hungarian committee (Építész Hallgatói Képviselet), our goal is to create a more integrated, sociable, and motivated community, and to ensure effective communication and growth through proper representation.

Our plans for the remainder of this semester include optimizing collaboration with the University leadership and faculty, and to finalize our legal foundation with the help of the Hungarian committee. By the end of the semester, we would like to establish ourselves as the main representatives and supporters of the International Architecture student body and collect possible recruits for joining us in September. For the time being we are working on a voluntary basis, but are hoping to hold elections in October, where you can decide who will represent us in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Official documents and information about our mission statement, operations, departments etc. will be available soon on our website which is currently under development. We will inform you on our social media platforms as soon as it gets published.

We still have a long way to go before we reach the level of operational effectiveness, professionalism, and significance that the existing Hungarian committee maintains, but we have finally reached a point where we would like to start building the social component of the committee, which is where your role becomes crucial. We kindly ask for your support and cooperation by participating in upcoming questionnaires, polls, and online meetings. We will be posting regularly on our Facebook and Instagram pages, so you can follow us there to stay up to date on all happenings: @archisc.int

You can message us anytime on Facebook or Instagram, or concerning more official matters you can reach us on the email addresses found in the document here.

In the document you can also read a short description about the roles of each representative. If you are unsure about who to contact about a certain topic you can also reach us on info@archisc.hu and we will forward the letter to the relevant representative. We will try to help you to the best of our abilities, and kindly ask for your patience during this starting period until we learn the most effective way to do so.

We look forward to hearing your feedback and input.
All the best,
International Architecture Student Committee

Project Title

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
