The international urban-planning and architectural competition for the development of Vinča Belo Brdo archaeological park have been launched, with preliminary designs for the visitor centre and the scientific and research centre.
This competition is one of the steps in making the archaeological site in Vinča a well-developed international archaeological park with various purpose-made elements. These elements will enable visitors to experience how people used to live in the Neolithic era, and researchers to apply and develop modern methodologies in the exploration of this multi-layered prehistoric habitat that has been going on without interruption for over a century.
The deadline for submitting competition designs has been moved to September 4, 2022. until 23:59 (GMT +1).
The results of the Competition shall be published by 15.09.2022 until 23:59 (GMT +1).
The competition’s total funding is 51.000 EUR.
