The European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance (EELISA) is a consortium of ten higher education institutions (graduate engineering schools, technical and full-spectrum universities) from eight different countries in Europe. As one of the founding members of the association established in 2020, students at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics can now apply for EELISA scholarships in addition to Erasmus program funding at nine European partner universities.

On the initiative of the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, an association was established on October 9, 2025, in Budapest between the architecture schools of the EELISA universities. Its goal is to develop educational and research collaborations between the five architecture schools. Members:

EELISArch’s mission is to open up the field of architecture by fostering collaboration among the architecture schools of the EELISA European University Network. It seeks to integrate architectural design and spatial thinking with interdisciplinary research, contributing creatively and responsibly to the shaping of the physical environments of society, culture, and politics.
